А Мinoan (?) dagger from Lipovacko Gradiste (Central Balkans)
Abstract
The paper describes a bronze dagger which by shape and other characteristics reminds of the Early Bronze Age so-called Minoan daggers of southern Aegean region and Crete. The dagger is dated to the period from the Early Minoan III to Middle Minoan I, i.e. 2200-1800 BC in absolute dates. Based on the new researches, as well as some older finds, the paper points to possible contacts between the Central Balkans and Aegean region during the early Bronze Age.
