dc.description.abstract | The subject of this research paper presents Upper Moesian funerary monuments in the form of medallions. Their form and iconography have been analysed as well as the origin of the donors and the artists who made them. The examples of these medallions highlight the connections between Upper Moesia, Noricum and Pannonia. It also demonstrates that there was a link with the artistic centres of northern Italy on the one hand and with the province of Dacia on the other. | sr |
