AB  - This paper presents three new absolute dates for the central grave of mound XI (K) at the Paulje necropolis in the lower Drina valley. Also, we present the results of FTIR spectroscopy for the amber finds from the 4 mounds in the necropolis, including mound XI (K). In general the results confirm the earlier assumed chronology of the site - the 14C AMS dates fit the timeframe – the central grave fits ideally the previous timeframe for the Brezjak culture, i.e. the 15th and 14th century BC, and all of the amber samples are definitely of Baltic origin. These two facts clearly suggest that the amber finds from the lower Drina could mark one of the earliest appearances of Baltic amber in the Central Balkans.

AB  - The paper brings the results of archaeological excavations of Mound 28 at the Paulje necropolis, conducted in the autumn of 2019, along with the excavations of two adjacent mounds. All of the aforementioned mounds were partially damaged and eroded through decades of ploughing. Consequently, remains of a Late Bronze Age burial were recorded solely in Mound 28. According to the grave inventory comprised of bronze jewellery and analogies from concurrent necropolises, it is assumed that  the burial belongs to a female individual (?). Besides the extraordinary examples of bronze jewellery, such as pins, an arm ring, bracelets, crescent-shaped pendants, torques, and remains of amber jewellery, the organic substructure below the fully cast arm ring has been successfully dated. According to the absolute dating, the jewellery is attributed to the 14th century BC, and the inventory of the grave completely corresponds to the previously dated features from the Paulje necropolis. Therefore, certain forms of bronze jewellery were provided with a more precise chronological position based on the absolute dates. The burial  is attributed to the Brezjak culture.

Tumuli kod mosta na Krivajici smešten nešto južnije, prema varošici Zavlaci, sa leve strane lokalnog
puta, kod samog mosta na reci Krivajici (sl. 1). Lokalitet se nalazi na padini koja se prema
istoku blago spušta prema reci Jadar, a koja ujedno i predstavlja njegovu istočnu i severnu granicu.
Južnu granicu čini Krivajica, dok je
prema zapadu danas nalazište veštački
ograničeno lokalnim putem Loznica-
Valjevo sa čije se druge strane sada ne
primećuju nikakvi ostaci praistorijskih
humki.
